What better way to escape our extended winter here in Canada than transporting yourself musically to Brazil? Well, maybe ACTUALLY transporting yourself to Brazil, but considering our student budgets and looming exams, this is the next best option. Courtesy of one of EWM's contributors spending a semester in Sao Paulo, these are the top Brazilian songs he has heard with his ear to the ground of "D-Edge" and fist in the air. We encourage to keep an open mind...definitely not what we're used to here at EWM.

1. Parara Tibum | MC Tati Zaqui

Note: The "Hi-Ho" tune from the dwarves of Snow White and the not-to-subtle and risqué outfits pointing to the classic children's cartoon.

2. Hoje | Ludmilla

3. E Daí | Guilherme & Santiago

4. Pretin | Flora Matos
