#TBT: Nakamarra | Hiatus Kaiyote

This one comes courtesy of a couple of very pleasant and extremely musically inclined house guests over hungover cups of water, coffee and a breakfast of champions. Another SXSW '15 alum, Hiatus Kaiyote have left their homeland of Middle Earth to take claim over the North American shores with their "multi-dimensional, polyrhythmic gangster shit". Well, technically their claim started a few years back as they were already nominated for "Best R&B Performance" at the 2013 Grammys....but who really counts the Grammys nowadays? Kanye certainly does not. Nor does Trent Reznor. But we digress. If you simply can't get enough (guilty as charged), Hiatus Kaiyote will be spreading their polyrhythmic gangster shit all over NA this spring/summer in conjunction with their upcoming release of their sophomore studio album, Choose Your Weapon.
