I Forget Where We Were | Ben Howard

Today is a beautiful day everyone. The one and only Ben Howard has released his much anticipated album, I Forget Where We Were, today.

Musically the album isn't much different than his previous one, but it is a truly beautiful, atmospheric and moving one nonetheless. His lyrics are earnest and his guitar playing is technical and impressive as ever. The album definitely burns slowly (with each track being more than four minutes long) but that's ok because you're never going to want it to end! It starts slowly, building momentum with tracks like "I Dream" - the folky picking in this tune is definitely reminiscent of his older stuff - and then tappers off again with the almost weird (the only word I can think of) track, "Time is Dancing". We also LOVE the drumming in "All Is Now Harmed".
