Yellow Flicker Beat | Lorde

Tied with the release of the last installment of the teen trilogy The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Lorde has finally released her highly anticipated single, "Yellow Flicker Beat". It's a classic Lorde tune filled with moody vocals about how her "blood is a flood of rubies, precious stones". However, while this song is still distinctly Lorde-esque, we can't help to notice a slightly more pop-y feel to it...But maybe it has something to do with being tied to a predicted multi-million blockbuster.

But we're not not gunna say that we're looking forward to the finale of The Hunger Games...
