The Deserter | Willie Stratton & The Boarding Company

Here's your daily dose of local music. Was lucky enough to see Willie Stratton & The Boarding Company perform a couple of weeks ago at Knotty By Nature - a small time music festival in Lunenburg, NS and they were awesome! They played a great mix of their stuff, they had the entire crowd dancing (even waltzing...) and then settled everything down with some country-rock-folk(?) ballads.

Make sure to add these guys to your list of must-sees at the Halifax Pop Explosion happening at the end October. They're playing two shows - one on Oct. 23 and one on the 26.
