I started playing this video for my roommates when one said, "This guy's a real artist. He's the type of person who deserves to make it unlike most pop stars....You know, now I feel like most stars make one album and then they shit the bed for their sophmore albums because they're packaged and forced into one direction and the creativity is lost."

While that may be the case, the industry still does allow gems like Moses to pop on to the scene, and there's no denying that Moses Sumney is the real deal. If this video doesn't show it, I don't know what can because there are definitely not many people who can whip this song out of the bag - not to mention COMPLETELY by themselves. But his insane looping and rhythmic abilities aside, his voice has tinges of that old jazz feel and is suuuuuuuper soothing.
